Committees

The operational heart of CEBAC's policy work

How our committees work

CEBAC's thematic committees are the engine of its policy work. Each committee brings together experts and senior representatives from member companies to analyse sectoral challenges, develop concrete proposals, and engage with Serbian and European institutions. Committee outputs — including non-papers, position papers, and event recommendations — are shared with the EU Delegation, Serbian ministries, and other relevant stakeholders.

Infrastructure & Construction

Promotes transparency, competitiveness, and regulatory predictability in infrastructure projects, with a focus on enabling greater participation of EU companies in EU-financed tenders. The committee has produced a Non-Paper with recommendations shared with the EU Delegation, and is actively engaged on Public-Private Partnership frameworks.

ESG Committee

Addresses environmental, social, and governance challenges facing European companies operating in Serbia. The committee has been at the forefront of preparing the Serbian business community for the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), having organised a dedicated workshop in October 2025 in partnership with the EU Delegation.

HR Committee

Focuses on human resources, talent development, and labour market policies. The committee works to identify best practices in workforce management, vocational education, and talent retention, contributing to Serbia's competitiveness as a destination for European investment.

Transport & Logistics

Engages on regulatory, infrastructure, and operational issues affecting the transport and logistics sector, with a particular focus on alignment with EU standards and the development of sustainable and efficient regional supply chains.

Digital Committee

Addresses the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation for European companies in Serbia. The committee covers topics including digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and the adoption of EU digital standards, supporting Serbia's alignment with the European Digital Single Market.
